Sail House

This recently completed suburban home features a sailing roof that flies above the other houses in the neighbourhood, but not to show off- for the very practical reason of letting light into the Southern side of the house through clerestory windows.

The living room opens off the kitchen but sits slightly around the corner in order to feature views into the backyard . A cheeky little bookshelf pokes out to give a little more privacy and even more storage which this house features in bucket loads.
