Flooring below stairs is exposed concrete slab with clear epoxy finish. Dark color bc they covered it over with OSB during construction while it was still finishing curing. (like this look!) Stairs are constructed using 12"x1.5" channel steel as the stringers with welded steel angles to support the 3.5"x11.25" pine glulam beams used as stair treads. The steel railings and stringers are all powder-coated.
