Jake & Jacqy Kissing Camels House
Love this concept for a Bedroom fireplace.
If room for double oven.
Bar in basement - not this one in particular.
Upstairs bridge/ stairs
Not this style. But small office area concept. Just illustrating that the office space doesnt need to be large - just room for a computer/desk and a door to close off to eliminate noise.
Not this, but dog shower/drain in the garage
Garage - built in storage
Possibly a good option for gym access - glass door might throw off the style of the rest of the lower level.
Gym concept - doesnt need to be this big though. Just need room for a treadmill and stationary bike with a bit more area for free weights/yoga, etc.
Not this style in particular - But concept of a small living area upstairs between master and kids rooms. Small reading area. This is not a necessity if we run into issues fitting what we want on a top level.
Not too caught up on particular materials, but this general type of exterior feel.
Use of retaining wall to create privacy for lower level walk out area.
Lots of windows on one side and lack of them on the other to block neighbor house. Also like the accordion doors to blend inside/outside.
Fire pit - doesnt have to be this in particular, but this general type
High ceiling great room/living room with lots of windows on view side and lack of windows on the other to block view of neighboring house.
Rooms above the garage? If we go this direction we are worried about the noise of the garage on the rooms. However, it also seems like that might allow us to get more rooms on the second floor, saving ceiling height in other areas of the main floor. Not super opinionated either way on that concept.
Creation of a private area/courtyard by using walls/house on the sides. The actual picture doesnt make sense in the context of our lot, but creating a "H" shape, or crescent shape to create more privacy while you are in the main rooms and back deck/yard is high on our list.
ignore the overhang - we just like the oversized front door.
Certainly a look we like for the interior, but this also got me thinking about outside options where you integrate a fireplace but include a large wall that could block the view of the neighbors house.
Not hung up on the actual house here - but similar features to what we have in mind for the lot - lots of glass in the main floor living areas, walkout with retaining wall creating some privacy on the lower level, etc.
Outside landscaping if we cannot have grass.
hard Floors with big area rugs. Like the color of the floors
Large front entry door. pivot door.
A mudroom with some storage would be nice off of the garage to help with shoes, gear, etc. storage. (Obviously don;t need the boot dryer or anything this large - just a general concept)
Jake big on this idea of a tub with double door entry into a doublead shower on the shared wall with tub.
concept of the exposed walkway/bridge upstairs as a way to blend together the two levels. Jack and Jill kids rooms on one side, master on the other?
Not this exactly - but we dont need a separate dining room, so the main level great room can blend the kitchen, dining and living into one open concept room.
Looking specifically at the large outdoor fireplace in this picture. As mentioned, this could be a concept for blocking the view of a neighbors house.
.
Doesn't need to be this specific style, but a fun concept for hiding the door to a utility room.
