I do like wall panelling but will never have it - someone has to dust the top ledge/moulding/dado rail.

I totally agree @kooky_karen! For me though, the dado atop the wall panelling is HEAPS easier than dusting the kickboard!! (I made the wainscotting sit flush atop the kickboard. Yay me!!) Also, the high gloss finish is a breeze to clean. I wish I'd gone with it sooner.

My living room with original panelling etc. Not my architraves or lights and rose!
I am at a loss how to decorate it and make it a cosy, family space.
Any tips appreciated.
