Chief Sub-Editor and Writer, Houzz Australia and New Zealand. I love design and architecture that is thoughtful, sophisticated and champions an element of the unexpected. Before graduating with a Bachelor of Arts at UNSW and becoming a journalist, I studied interior architecture. For over a decade I have interviewed inspiring creative minds from around the world to write about design in its many different forms. Recently, I have also become an accidental gardener, to everyone's surprise.

It's great to see pink showcased, it's a gorgeous colour. It would have been nice to see a wider range of colours across the pink spectrum as many of these were quite similar. Pink comes in bold and pale, cool and warm, clear and muted shades ... so many options.
It was interesting to see it used on more than just walls but strangely not with many other colours which made many of them look quite austere. Am wondering what the examples that were rejected looked like.
The wallpapers added a great shot of interest to the rooms and made them more interesting as did the shutters in #3 and unusual tiles in #17.
So many great rooms! I liked 1, 4, 10 and 34 but my favourites are 13 and 30.
Any ideas on how to help with this pink ish floor tiles ? What colour dining table and chairs and curtain etc !
