Apartment in Belgravia

Eclectic Living Room, London

Solution For this client’s special project in Belgravia, we needed to artfully combine historic architecture, contemporary art, antique furniture, and heirloom art pieces together to express a sense of beauty and livability. In order to create a balanced yet contemporary look, we used pure whites and neutrals to offset the colour of contemporary pieces, glass art and natural crystal focal pieces. Notable Design Our palette included neutrals with motifs of blue, and the arrangement and design incorporated the client’s fine art collection, books, antique mirrors, and various vintage pieces including antique wood furniture. Balance and a sense of character was achieved by allowing white space between vignettes and displays. Bringing the Space Together Contemporary furnishings in neutral colours were complemented by lush accent pillows, and understated yet ornately decorated rugs. The entire project echoed the beautiful gallery like sophistication of historic manor houses, but with a most contemporary flair.
