We added both a rainshower head and an adjustable shower head because there was the space, and yes please. The linearly textured porcelain tile laid vertically gives visual height to the shower, which when hit with water becomes rich, dark and dramatic. The homeowners' dreamed of an Ofuro style soaking tub. We worked together to make that a reality. Our employees custom milled a surround of Ofuro cedar for the soaking tub. A cedar shelf holds the mirrors. The vanity is floating with a toe kick light. The tiled shower is sloped towards a curtain drain. The shower boasts a tiled bench, niche and wand with a rain shower head. The toilet is separated from the main room by a custom obscure glass panel.

Inspiration for an asian bathroom in San Francisco with an open shower and a japanese tub.

This remodeled bathroom now serves as powder room for the kitchen/family room and a guest bath adjacent to the media room with its pull-down Murphy bed. Since the bathroom opens directly off the family room, we created a small entry with planter and low views to the garden beyond. The shower now features a deck of ironwood, smooth-trowel plaster walls and an enclosure made of 3-form recycle resin panels with embedded reeds. From his furniture collection, Walters transformed his two-toned Tribe Console into a stunning vanity base. He topped this with a polished chiseled granite sink and a satin nickel faucet.

This walk-in shower, complete with an eye-catching contemporary shower panel, features contrasting natural bamboo and sleek stainless steel. The rectangular porcelain tile with a bamboo effect was installed vertically to add visual height, while paired with a stone and glass mosaic tile in a wrapped stripe for interest.
