Simply Baths & KitchensFor those that are above-average in height, standard bathroom fixtures can be difficult to truly enjoy. For this homeowner a soaking tub with a water depth that would be near his shoulders was top priority. The solution was a square Japanese-style soaking tub with a built-in seat. The stepped details add function and also cascading interest to the space, with steps to enter the tub and a shower bench seat. This large master bathroom is also outfitted with loads of cabinetry for both him and her. However, the best feature of this room is the traditional detailing brought in by the tile pattern. The neutral, travertine-look tile is elevated to new heights by varying the sizing and installation and adding in delicate metallic accents.

Centre Sky Architecture Ltd This unique project has heavy Asian influences due to the owner’s strong connection to Indonesia, along with a Mountain West flare creating a unique and rustic contemporary composition. This mountain contemporary residence is tucked into a mature ponderosa forest in the beautiful high desert of Flagstaff, Arizona. The site was instrumental on the development of our form and structure in early design. The 60 to 100 foot towering ponderosas on the site heavily impacted the location and form of the structure. The Asian influence combined with the vertical forms of the existing ponderosa forest led to the Flagstaff House trending towards a horizontal theme.
HOMEREDIIn this image the Japanese style soaking tub is shown next to a free standing shower enclosed with 1/2 inch tempered glass. We used the same Tiles for the Shower floor, custom built shampoo enclosures and the Soaking tub surround for a seamless feeling all custom Saddles were fabricated by our Counter-Top fabricator.
