After discovering a flue, we realized that the initial layout of the bathroom needed to be reconfigured. This required a few changes to be made to the existing layout, including relocating the toilet to its intended location, shifting the doorway to the left of the flue, and moving the lavatory. One of the unique features resulting from the flue redesign was the creation of a toilet nook.

Master Bath Remodel. Light and natural color materials creates spacious and airy feeling. Removed a header in the vanity area, add two linen cabinets on each side to provide more storage. Created a bench seat in a shower by expanding the glass enclosure. Custom floor rug design using marble mosaic tiles inside of porcelain tile boarder. Multiple colors in mosaic tiles compliments shower wall and floor tiles and cabinet & countertop colors.

A 1950's era bathroom sustained water damage to the subfloor, resulting in the need for a total restoration. The materials in the room are soothing and give a nice vintage vibe in keeping with the rest of the home. We completed a kitchen remodel for this client a few years’ ago and were delighted when she contacted us for help with her master bath! The bathroom was fine but was lacking in interesting design elements, and the shower was very small. We started by eliminating the shower curb which allowed us to enlarge the footprint of the shower all the way to the edge of the bathtub, creating a modified wet room. The shower is pitched toward a linear drain so the water stays in the shower. A glass divider allows for the light from the window to expand into the room, while a freestanding tub adds a spa like feel. The radiator was removed and both heated flooring and a towel warmer were added to provide heat. Since the unit is on the top floor in a multi-unit building it shares some of the heat from the floors below, so this was a great solution for the space. The custom vanity includes a spot for storing styling tools and a new built in linen cabinet provides plenty of the storage. The doors at the top of the linen cabinet open to stow away towels and other personal care products, and are lighted to ensure everything is easy to find. The doors below are false doors that disguise a hidden storage area. The hidden storage area features a custom litterbox pull out for the homeowner’s cat! Her kitty enters through the cutout, and the pull out drawer allows for easy clean ups. The materials in the room – white and gray marble, charcoal blue cabinetry and gold accents – have a vintage vibe in keeping with the rest of the home. Polished nickel fixtures and hardware add sparkle, while colorful artwork adds some life to the space.

A complete reproduction of an ancient roman style bathroom , including solid clawfoot bath carved from marble. A french antique side table was converted into a vanity. Mosaic floor was designed and measured on site here in Sydney and made in Milan Italy , then imported in sheets for installation.

This home in Napa off Silverado was rebuilt after burning down in the 2017 fires. Architect David Rulon, a former associate of Howard Backen, known for this Napa Valley industrial modern farmhouse style. Composed in mostly a neutral palette, the bones of this house are bathed in diffused natural light pouring in through the clerestory windows. Beautiful textures and the layering of pattern with a mix of materials add drama to a neutral backdrop. The homeowners are pleased with their open floor plan and fluid seating areas, which allow them to entertain large gatherings. The result is an engaging space, a personal sanctuary and a true reflection of it's owners' unique aesthetic. Inspirational features are metal fireplace surround and book cases as well as Beverage Bar shelving done by Wyatt Studio, painted inset style cabinets by Gamma, moroccan CLE tile backsplash and quartzite countertops.
