Original bathroom plumbed for two sinks, but current homeowner has only one user for this bathroom, so we capped one side, which can easily be reopened in future if homeowner wants to return to a double-sink setup. The visual comfort wall sconce also dripped with crystals creates an ambiance reflecting the light and the blue walls. The classic clawfoot tub make a huge statement to this space. This 90's beauty had an odd layout with a built-in tub deck. It had a closed off layout and was dated with striped wallpaper, tiled countertops and gold fixtures. We removed the tub deck and installed a beautiful, aerated tub, providing a focal point when you walk in. We replaced vinyl flooring with neutral large format floor tile with a tile base. The new shower is larger than was the existing shower, set in a vertical brick set pattern with a beautiful mosaic band running through the niche. The homeowners previously purchased the vanity which is a great finish to this master bathroom.

We designed this bathroom with a modern retreat in mind. We moved the original plumbing to accommodate this elegant tub. We put the tub on an angel to make a statement upon entry. The theme was black and white, which is classic, modern, and tailored all at the same time. We mixed both Matte black and brass finishes. You will find a mixture of both finishes on the contemporary chandelier and sconces, which ties it all together. We used a tile floor-to-ceiling waterfall in a beautiful large-scaled pattern to create interest and balance the brick-patterned white subway tile. We used a beautiful deep blue double vanity for a pop of color. We also specified a custom bench to add ample storage within this spacious master bathroom.

The walnut vanity brought warmth back into the space and further emphasizes a rustic feel. For the floor tile, we went with a square Spanish mosaic tile bringing in a fun pop but still blends in with the rustic elements.
