Master bathroom design & build in Houston Texas. This master bathroom was custom designed specifically for our client. She wanted a luxurious bathroom with lots of detail, down to the last finish. Our original design had satin brass sink and shower fixtures. The client loved the satin brass plumbing fixtures, but was a bit apprehensive going with the satin brass plumbing fixtures. Feeling it would lock her down for a long commitment. So we worked a design out that allowed us to mix metal finishes. This way our client could have the satin brass look without the commitment of the plumbing fixtures. We started mixing metals by presenting a chandelier made by Curry & Company, the "Zenda Orb Chandelier" that has a mix of silver and gold. From there we added the satin brass, large round bar pulls, by "Lewis Dolin" and the satin brass door knobs from Emtek. We also suspended a gold mirror in the window of the makeup station. We used a waterjet marble from Tilebar, called "Abernethy Marble." The cobalt blue interior doors leading into the Master Bath set the gold fixtures just right.

Tile -- Renaissance 2x2 Hex White tile, Matte finish in a straight lay; Daltile Rittenhouse Square Cove 3x6 Tile K101 White as base mold throughout; Arizona Tile H-Line Series 3x6 Denim Glossy in a brick lay up the wall, window casing and built-in niche and matching curb and bullnose pieces. Countertop -- 3 cm Caesarstone Frosty Carina. Vanity sink -- Toto Undercounter Lavatory with SanaGloss Cotton. Vanity faucet-- Widespread faucet with White ceramic lever handles. Tub filler - Kohler Devonshire non-diverter bath spout polished chrome. Shower control – Kohler Bancroft valve trim with white ceramic lever handles. Hand Shower & Slider Bar - one multifunction handshower with Slide Bar. Commode - Toto Maris Wall-Hung Dual-Flush Toilet Cotton w/ Rectangular Push Plate Dual Button White. The original footprint of this powder room was a tight fit- so we utilized space saving techniques like a wall mounted toilet, an 18" deep vanity and a new pocket door. Blue dot "Dumbo" wallpaper, weathered looking oak vanity and a wall mounted polished chrome faucet brighten this space and will make you want to linger for a bit.

The downstairs bathroom the clients were wanting a space that could house a freestanding bath at the end of the space, a larger shower space and a custom- made cabinet that was made to look like a piece of furniture. A nib wall was created in the space offering a ledge as a form of storage. The reference of black cabinetry links back to the kitchen and the upstairs bathroom, whilst the consistency of the classic look was again shown through the use of subway tiles and patterned floors.
