Our recent covered patio addition in Forney, TX illustrates just how much luxury we pour into our custom designs.
The homeowners chose to go with a stain-and-stamp concrete patio using the hardwood stamp pattern. For the color, they wanted to give the space a warm, inviting feel so they chose our maple wood stain with a charcoal release.

For the patio cover, we designed a roof with a stunning open-gable end. We used tongue and groove pine for the ceiling and wrapped all of the beams in cedar and posts in AZEK. If you look closely, you can see the steps we built for the doorway leading into the home. We used low-maintenance AZEK for the steps, an extremely durable material perfect for any high-traffic area. Also, bringing indoor comforts outdoors, we installed recessed can lights in the ceiling as well as everyone’s favorite, the ceiling fan.

When facing the rear of the home in the backyard, to the right of the pavilion we constructed a stunning custom fire feature. This wood-burning fire pit is built from Oklahoma chopped stone, and a gray luedersstone top, along with two stain and stamp pathways that match the patio floor of the covered patio/pergola area just off the back of the house. To add visual interest and greater functionality to this area, we used black crushed rock around the fire pit to finish it off.

We started this outdoor living combination space transformation by building out from the existing walkout nook. We meticulously constructed a stunning 16-foot by 15-foot attached Gable Roof patio cover with a Cedar TV Wall.
The new stain and stamp patio was created using the Ashler Slate stamp with a 12-inch border for precise definition of the space and architectural detail.
Our design team chose to use chopped stone on the bar area and we installed a conveniently sized refrigerator to make grabbing a cool drink effortless, without ever stepping back indoors. The redesign transformation also features grey Lueders stone tops with multi-color chopped stone. Lueders is a favorite of our design team, as it is a consistently tried and true Texas limestone, sawn on top as well as on the bottom.

Our clients had a small, builder-grade covered patio at their back door. They wanted a larger covered space with room for dining outdoors and a special area for the therapeutic hot tub they were ready to add.
Archadeck didn’t need to extend too far out into the yard to create a substantially larger covered space. The main patio extension coming straight out from the original is covered by a gable roof, letting in lots of light. To the side of that, we created another patio extension along the back of the house for the hot tub. We designed a shed roof for the hot tub area.

Reminiscent of a luxurious chalet, this magnificent outdoor living combination space impresses, no matter how you look at it. From afar, looking from the extremity of the backyard, the handsome gable roof stands out – loud and strong. It is attached to a Legacy end-cut pergola, stained to match the outreaching roof structure.
The stamp and stain patio underfoot was built using a Roman Slate stamp, and the color we used was Bone and Walnut.
The ceiling finish within the roofed structure is one of our perennial favorites -- tongue and groove pine. To complement the gable roof and attached pergola color sense, it was stained in Dark Walnut.

As the premier Garland TX patio builder, Archadeck started thee outdoor living space expansion by extending the existing patio area by more than three times its original size using a stain and stamp pattern in traditional flagstone. To compliment the earth tone hues of the home’s exterior, the patio stain colors are a blend of terra cotta, pecan tan and dark walnut.

For their patio floor, the homeowners selected an ashlar slate stamp and silver mist for the stain color. For the concrete release, which adds a subtle second color to the surface, they chose charcoal gray. The effect is luscious.

To expand outdoor living area options, we also built a shed roof detached covered cabana toward the rear of the backyard – a great space for daytime summer picnics and alfresco dining.

The fire pit and seat wall surround were constructed with Granbury gray chopped stone, and the tops are capped with gray Lueders stone. The earthen colors of the fire pit work in beautiful color harmony with the exterior of the home, as well as the new patio.
