Mural – Trompe L’Oeil (shading)
We – Marcelino Custom Finishes – used techniques such as Trompe L’Oeil (shading), perspective drawing, wood graining and faux finishes to accomplish all of this in acrylic medium. This created the entry way into a warm and enticing walkway.
Here is the actual five star review by Darren J. in San Diego about this mural we developed for his restaurant:
TESTIMONIAL
I was in need of an artist for a Trompe Loeil mural I wanted for my new restaurant. Your service matched me with Marcelino Custom Finishes. Let me tell you, this gentleman and artist did a fabulous job with my restaurant. He painted the most beautiful Italian countryside with trees, fountains, balconies and more expanding close to 15′ by 11′ at my restaurant entrance. It looks incredible. This type of painting is such a specialized art form and it was great to find Marcelino on your site. THANK YOU Marcelino and thank you Service Magic. He was the only one of the three matches that responded back to me as well. He is a true professional”
