Instead of having the microwave above the counter it was placed below. The adjustable shelf which the client chose to have above the microwave could also be put under the microwave pushing the microwave up a few inches closer to the counter. I really love having the microwave below the counter. Who wants to walk into a kitchen and the first thing you see is a microwave sticking out past the upper cabinets right in your face.
