This room was created with wonderful ceiling treatments, including a barrel vault running the length of the room and a faux finished applied to set it apart from the other ceiling areas and walls. The grand stone fireplace with a custom cut stone mantel was designed to be the focal point of the room, at the same time allowing one's eye to extend to the outdoor Hill Country setting. Using some furniture from a previous home we had completed, we found a large oriental rug to add some pattern and additional contrast to the hand scraped floors, creating a rich color scheme. Large and spacious living areas make it great for all the family and friends to come and stay for a visit.
