Originally the floor covering was a pale blue carpet and all walls were painted burgundy. The flooring was changed to rubber tiles, (which I had seen at a Design expo in Melbourne) and these gave me the ability to design our own pattern. From the flooring the wall colours evolved, the corner area was originally exposed brick which we rendered and then painted in a warm green.
