The Client Brief: Create a neutral coloured scheme nursery that can easley transform to a ready room for a boy to grow up in for at least the first 5-8 years. Create a room that is tranquil at day or night for a baby to sleep. They sleep as many hours at day as they do at night. Have some funky features and we are looking at telescope / stars. We want a feature wall. We created: A soft neutral colour scheme with small amounts of blue. We introduced a soft feature wall with stars and nursery custom cut decals of a telescope and stars. This answered the feature wall request. With the help of plantation shutters we were able to created a room that can be bright lit, or dulled at any time of the day. All furniture was custom colour painted. Gorgeous battery operated cloud lights that reflect moon and stars completed the soft nursery.
