A wonderful layering of ornamental trees and flowering shrubs lead along a reused permeable brick path from a zen patio and pergola and a breakfast patio to a beautiful tiered fountain at the end backed by arborvitae and clematis and new wood fencing. Special attention was paid in the site planning and garden design to the water wise design of this landscape. The brick is unmortared with a sand base to ensure the return of valuable water to the soil and plantings. Plantings are arranged according to water needs, good soil preparation was paramount, plantings are irrigated by drip system and a good covering of wood mulch was used.
