This tiny dining area would only have had seating for two if it included a standard table and allowed enough space in the dining area for people to walk back and forth from the living room to the kitchen. Using a custom triangular table with matching benches created seating for four and preserved enough space for the pass through. The room also features non-toxic, no-VOC paint, and the leather is Greenguard certified for low toxic emissions.

This small powder room features marble tile and marble mosaics. Hand carved and custom made mirror is complemented by the elegant and luxurious light fixture. We used wall washers to showcase the mosaics of the back wall. Light color vanity creates contrast with dark marble. Fabrication and Tilework: Tiles Unlimited, Matawan, New Jersey. The grandeur of this formal living room is unmistakable. Soaring cathedral ceilings with exposed wood trusses are accented with sparkling iron and crystal chandeliers. The scrolled iron railing is detailed and delicate on the curving grand staircase. Custom draperies, artwork, lighting, furniture, and accessories round out this beautiful space.

MMI Design
This existing client reached out to MMI Design for help shortly after the flood waters of Harvey subsided. Her home was ravaged by 5 feet of water throughout the first floor. What had been this client's long-term dream renovation became a reality, turning the nightmare of Harvey's wrath into one of the loveliest homes designed to date by MMI. We led the team to transform this home into a showplace. Our work included a complete redesign of her kitchen and family room, master bathroom, two powders, butler's pantry, and a large living room. MMI designed all millwork and cabinetry, adjusted the floor plans in various rooms, and assisted the client with all material specifications and furnishings selections. Returning these clients to their beautiful '"new" home is one of MMI's proudest moments!
Re-Style Interiors
The client wanted clean lines, and minimal decor. Using furniture carefully scaled for the space, a textural area rug to anchor the seating area, and a punch of color makes this room shine.

ODS Architecture
Located in Menlo Park, California, this 3,000 sf. remodel was carefully crafted to generate excitement and make maximum use of the owner’s strict budget and comply with the city’s stringent planning code. It was understood that not everything was to be redone from a prior owner’s quirky remodel which included odd inward angled walls, circular windows and cedar shingles.
Remedial work to remove and prevent dry rot ate into the budget as well. Studied alterations to the exterior include a new trellis over the garage door, pushing the entry out to create a new soaring stair hall and stripping the exterior down to simplify its appearance. The new steel entry stair leads to a floating bookcase that pivots to the family room. For budget reasons, it was decided to keep the existing cedar shingles.
Upstairs, a large oak multi-level staircase was replaced with the new simple run of stairs. The impact of angled bedroom walls and circular window in the bathroom were calmed with new clean white walls and tile.

This dining room in Ladue was transformed from boring to fabulous. Starting with the faux finish on the ceiling and the double chandeliers over the table these elements give the room an expansive feel. The faux finish walls soften the lines of the room. The draperies are show stoppers . Embellished with cording and crystals.the pennants end with a fluer dis las tassel at the point of the velvet shaped accent rim. Causal dining at its European best!
Betty Wasserman Art & Interiors
A sleek dining room in a Tribeca loft we designed. We wanted this space to be as unique as our clients, so we incorporated a custom dining table and Bocci globe pendant lighting. Contemporary chairs by Dennis Miller bring the design together, pairing wonderfully with the lighting and contrasting with the table.
Project completed by New York interior design firm Betty Wasserman Art & Interiors, which serves New York City, as well as across the tri-state area and in The Hamptons.
