C&R Remodeling
C&R Remodeling constructed this studio and home office for Linda Stewart, Interior Designer. Her carefully planned design artfully blends contemporary with Asian influences. Two sets of French doors open to the exquisitly landscaped back yard and patio area. The studio doubles as a family room and has become the couple's favorite living area. The main house connects to the studio via an open but covered breezeway.

The large empty space above the bed needed some wall decor. The large 3-Piece artwork is at the same time simple and impressive. The large size of 72x36 inches + a few inches of spacing between the canvasses matches the width of the king-size bed in the master bedroom perfectly.

Haven Design and Construction
The sophisticated study adds a touch of moodiness to the home. Our team custom designed the 12' tall built in bookcases and wainscoting to add some much needed architectural detailing to the plain white space and 22' tall walls. A hidden pullout drawer for the printer and additional file storage drawers add function to the home office. The windows are dressed in contrasting velvet drapery panels and simple sophisticated woven window shades. The woven textural element is picked up again in the area rug, the chandelier and the caned guest chairs. The ceiling boasts patterned wallpaper with gold accents. A natural stone and iron desk and a comfortable desk chair complete the space.
Laura Lee Home
Previously used as an office, this space had an awkwardly placed window to the left of the fireplace. By removing the window and building a bookcase to match the existing, the room feels balanced and symmetrical. Panel molding was added (by the homeowner!) and the walls were lacquered a deep navy. Bold modern green lounge chairs and a trio of crystal pendants make this cozy lounge next level. A console with upholstered ottomans keeps cocktails at the ready while adding two additional seats.

BetterWall
This small, well appointed home office reflects the owner's love of art and design. The comfortable but eclectic space showcases a group of Charlie Harper prints, a George Nelson Ball Clock, a colorful abstract painting, a re-purposed clarinet floor lamp, an Eames chair and a Calder inspired mobile. The focus piece is promotional banner featuring a portion of Monet's "Water Lilies" from an exhibition at the St. Louis Art Museum. Hung on a resizable chain, the space accommodates an ever changing display of collected banners.
