Then Karen Keating looked all through our home, sat down and in a matter of minutes roughly sketched out a plan which included a dining nook, den, office, bath and storage room. I knew we'd found the firm with which we wanted to work. Everyone that we worked with at TKP was respectful of our ideas, and then made them even better. Adam created a beautiful post modern feel to the addition that tied the old school logs & pine to a contemporary mountain style entry, pool room, mud room and new bedroom/bath. My hope is that you will take the time get to know Janet the way we have. We have developed a high level of respect working with her for over 20 years. If I had to find one word to describe Janet’s designs and personality; I would have to say simply, "Classic".
Janet's homes are the epitome of the "Colorado Essence". Although, modern homes are wonderful and certainly have their place, Janet’s legacy homes are just that, designs that are everlasting.
Being an Interior Designer, we always enjoy working on Janet's homes. You can’t help but notice her meticulous strive for perfection; not only through her exteriors but her interior flow, scale in finishes, analysis of furnishing placement, window treatments on certain windows and how the client lives. Working with Janet over the years on projects, has given us a deep appreciation for her ability to create interesting "sight lines" (viewing the interior through different angles of a room throughout her homes.) We have found her detailed drawings and 3d conceptual sketches to be extremely informative during the design process. Janet is always approachable, encourages input, and a major player of our Project Teams, and of course, we haven't met an owner who doesn't simply love her!
I would highly recommend Janet for your architectural needs. You will not be disappointed!”
