“I have worked with Steve on multiple projects over the years in both New York and Nantucket MA. It is always a great experience working with him so I keep seeking him out for advice and assistance on whatever project I have. It started with an apartment renovation in NY based upon a recommendation from a seller who decided not to sell her apartment that I loved. He did a makeover on the apartment I later bought which had already been improved but not in my style. We added built-ins throughout, refinished floors, refaced cabinets, chose paint colors, and all furnishings in a style that felt uniquely my own. He had an excellent way of learning what I like and do not like and made the process for me very efficient because I almost always loved at least one of the options he presented to me for furnishings, curtains, carpets etc. Later we did a bathroom renovation which is a jewel box and very unique. A few years later he took a one day turn around trip with me to Nantucket to scope out my new beach house and came up with a very clever strategy for access to a second floor loft previously served by a ladder. This added tremendous utility to the space. He designed the new kitchen as well. He designed a brand new much expanded deck, and subsequently an outbuilding along the lines of a tiny house. I love working with Steve and hope to have more projects in future that we can work on together. Highly recommend!”

“Franklin Zaldivar researched and designed a fireplace mantel for our 102 year old home. Carlos Zaldivar contracted the carpenter and the tile expert. The mantel is beautiful and looks as if it was built at the same time as the house. Our home is now the jewel of the neighborhood.”

“Gordon has an amazing gift that allows him to see your vision and then transcribe it onto a blueprint. He did an incredible job incorporating every little nuance we were looking for. After being in our home for three years now, I cannot think of one thing we would do differently. I used to work for Marriott as an owners rep during construction of their hotels and most of my time was spent fixing/ resolving all of the design errors. During the construction of my Riverstone Design home I had very limited design issues to resolve. Gordon thinks of everything and delivers an extremely comprehensive set of plans that will be easy to implement. As a bonus, Gordon's wife Darcy is a designer and they work extremely well together. Darcy also picks up the vision quickly and puts all the finishing touches on the final product in a very professional, fun and easy process. What an amazing team!! I highly recommend that you at least meet these wonderful people and see if they are a good fit for your custom home design.”

“We hired Ricardo to design our new house and were extraordinarily pleased with the floor plan he produced for our 2 acre lot. Our parameters included: a large open Greatroom/Kitchen/Breakfast area, Dining Room, Living Room, Office, Master Bedroom, and Bedroom #2 downstairs, and then upstairs Bedroom #3, Bedroom #4, and an Activity Room over the 3-car garage. Ricardo took great care to meet our room requirements while also superbly incorporating views of the back yard swimming pool area from the Greatroom, Breakfast nook, Living Room, and Master Bedroom windows. Additionally, he creatively designed a 2nd floor terrace exiting the Activity Room which took advantage of the long-distance western view. Clearly a man who loves his profession, Ricardo was a pleasure to work with. Throughout our association, he always displayed courtesy, high interest and energy toward us as customers. And thanks to his timely work, we'll pour the foundation "on-time" in September of 2013.”

“Ryan Schmidt assisted me with two National Register of Historic Places nominations: The Light House in San Antonio, Texas and the amendment to the nomination of the Goliad Courthouse Square in Goliad, Texas. It was imperative that the nominations have professional architectural input. Ryan's knowledge and experience were invaluable to the success of both projects. His helpful attitude, and his ability to meet the deadlines required were exceptional. .His maps for both projects were detailed and correct. His plans and descriptions for The Light House were very professional, and the nomination was approved by the Department of the Interior in 2011.The Goliad project is being completed (2014) by the Texas Historical Commission.”
