“I worked with Jody in 2003 on a major renovation of my home. From beginning to end of the project, she helped me through the entire process. She worked very closely with the contractor and kept me informed throughout the process. I moved out of my house for six months during construction and she was always available when needed. The project was completed on time and turned even better than I expected. Once Jody got to know me, she realized that I didn't do well with having too many options provided to me, so she figured out what I wanted and liked and narrowed the choices down which made the entire process much easier for me. That was only one of the things she did that made a big difference in my project. I sold my house in 2012 to downsize to a condo. Jody is currently working for me in another renovation project.”

“My husband and I couldn't agree on a paint color for a specific section of our home's exterior, and we went back and forth to the hardware store for numerous paint samples, which we spot checked in areas all over the house. It was a super frustrating process until Slate Design Studio stepped in. Our professional was able to provide digital renderings of the house showcasing a carefully selected array of colors so that we could clearly see how the section of the house would look in its entirety next to every other surface it touched and needed to coordinate with. Our professional offered to change colors as needed, or answer questions for us throughout the process, and he was prompt with his replies when we asked him anything. We were able to specify the brand of paint we wanted to use, and our digital rendition was tweaked accordingly, with paint colors and product numbers listed so that we knew exactly what to look for in the store. Suddenly the process was simple - we may never go back to our antiquated system of choosing colors. My husband and I have almost decided on one color we both like (the options he presented are really good, and one was a color we never even considered, but frankly like better than our own ideas) , and painting will begin in August. Anyone who needs a consultation for paint colors or design ideas would be well served in contacting Kinley at Slate Design Studio. This is a professional with an amazing eye and the customer service you'd receive will exceed your expectations.”

Scott has an amazing eye for modern design which in turn we are able to transform into beautiful custom homes.
