“Megan was wonderful to work with. My project involved working with an older structure with a lot of constraints. Megan took the time to understand my needs, was creative in suggesting multiple designs I could choose from. She is detail oriented, responsive, punctual and fairly priced.”

Voussoir Architecture
Green Building Services in Londonderry, NH
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars28 November 2023
“This review is made on behalf of Jesse (Sensitive Information Hidden) at Voussoir Architecture. Jesse has worked many months on the project of my house in Eugene, OR., an old house whose foundation needed to be redone and the new basement was made into a liveable space after the house was raised. I live in France and Jesse has supervised the team working on the house, has helped me over the months making informed choices or understanding the work being done. He has always been so helpful and knowledgeable, despite his very busy schedule. He was able to always prioritise my needs. He would reply to my email from France right away, despite the 9 hour time difference. He worked diligently with the city of Eugene in order to obtain the many permits that we needed for the project. Jesse is so talented as an architect and the aesthetic outcomes were refined and were met in all possible details. He seems to prioritise these outcomes over profit. He treated me very kindly and helped me, knowing how stressful it is to oversee a project when you live so far away. I know for a fact Voussoir is extremely lucky to have Jesse Elliot as one of the Architect of this firm. This project was completed successfully after 11 months thanks to Jesse and no details was neglected. This review is genuine: I could not have had a better architect for this work. I recommend Jesse without any hesitation and wish him the best in his career.”

“Holly, Lisa, and the team at Nashawtuc were incredible to work with (twice!). We have now built two homes with them and have been more then thrilled. Lisa's capacity for information knows no bounds. She is always motivated to find the best solution, she researches whatever it takes, she dives deep down on every single detail. Her creative and solid solutions for the complexity of our home were truly amazing. She worked with our builders incredibly well and she helped us achieve an incredible dream home!”

“Nick and Dani from Making Design Studio deserve all the praise for the incredible transformation they brought to our home. They skillfully altered our bathroom layout to seamlessly incorporate a laundry area, making our daily routine much more convenient. The open concept they created by opening up the kitchen to the dining room has completely elevated our living space allowing for so much natural light! Thank you for making our home so much better!”
Battle Associates, Architects

“In 2012 we purchased a 120 year old house in our town's historic district. The previous owner had lived in the house since 1941 and very little had been done in that time to update any of the systems. The house did not have a garage, needed a comprehensive restoration and needed to have the kitchen updated to modern standards. As our town's historic district had a reputation of being very challenging to work with, we knew that we needed an architect with an extensive knowledge of historic buildings and an expertise on how to work with town boards. Also, as we would be living out of state during the renovation/ addition, we were looking for an architect who could effectively manage the project and communicate ongoing status and issues in a clear concise manner. John Battle showed up on day one ready to go. He quickly recognized how to best preserve the historic elements of our house while at the same time cost-effectively modernizing the structure. He and his team worked up a creative design for the garage that was in harmony with the existing house, and one that was ultimately approved by the Historic District. I can not emphasize this part of our project enough: dealing with Historic District had the potential to be extremely stressful, but John's calm and persistent demeanor successfully navigated this. His plans for the main house modernized the kitchen and turned it into the epicenter of family activity - his design came out so well that it ended up on the cover of This Old House magazine. Ultimately we are in an wonderful old house that thanks to John and his team, retains all of the charms from another time but offers all of the modern comforts. I would strongly recommend Battle Architects.”
Acorn Deck House Company
Green Building Services in Londonderry, NH
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars25 February 2015
“Acorn/Deck House now a subsidiary of Trudeau occupies a storied place in the history of American manufactured housing and an equal place in the development of North American modern residential architecture and design. That this company has remained operational and served customers in some form almost without interruption since 1959 is a significant feat given the ups and downs of the real estate and housing markets. That one can still purchase from them the replacement parts and upgrade materials, obtain accurate blueprints for houses built over 40 years ago and converse with people who have absorbed and can relate the experiences and technological developments that have effected these houses makes for a situation unique in the housing industry. In this sense the extraordinary legacy of the Deck House continues to grow. Deck house owners today can expect knowledgeable advice rooted in decades of experience as regards upgrading the energy performance of the older deck houses. They can purchase replacement beams, flooring and exposed cedar ceiling materials that will match and fit houses built in the 1960's and 1970's. They can purchase stylistically consistent components to add on to these houses. They can be referred to builders experienced and knowledgeable as regards the style and construction method. That the original mission of Deck has been expanded to a broader range of style and to create the Next House system bodes well for today's home buyers and builders. As a custom home builder who also offers kit house options and works on the restoration of classic mid-century and modern homes. My relationship with Deck House has been essential.”

“As the owner of a rehabbing/flipping company I have worked with many architects over the years. Casey at i3 Architects has been far and beyond the best that I have ever worked with. I have used i3 on many projects, big and small and they have always exceeded my expectations. What makes Casey unique, besides her eye for design and detail, is working with specific budgets and having the expertise to create designs that maximizes space and are perfect for the specific home and neighborhood. Additionally, Casey works with you and aways comes up with great designs and finds cost effective and creative engineering solutions to complex issues, a quality that is hard to find. She truly is conscious of your needs, budget and outcome. Her availability, site visits and willingness to engage/help with difficult contractors, subcontractors and building inspectors is invaluable. Simply put, thanks to i3 architects exceptional designs and customer service, they have maximized my profits and grown my business.”

Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars1 December 2016
“Kreg Jones is extremely easy to work with and so professional. He kept us on track with our rather complicated project that was a rather hard sell to the community. Once completed every one is extremely proud of the work done and would like to take the credit! Isn't that the way it goes with a community project? We know who did the heavy lifting and are so proud and pleased with the project.”
