“We hired Phipps Home Design for the renovation our beach house on Anna Maria Island. My wife and I sat with Mr. Phipps in our home, explained our likes and dislikes and wishes. A short time after the meeting the plans were shown to us and they were perfect! We are now a few months into our renovation and Mr. Phipps has been available for questions and changes as needed. I recommend him highly.”

“We used John to conceive, design and manage a total gut rehab of a garage apartment in St. Petersburg. His expertise and talents go far beyond just drawing up plans. He really made this space functional, inviting and a fun place to spend time for our friends and family, as well as enhancing its income generating potential as a rental unit. I have done several remodeling and addition projects on our residences over the years, but none went more smoothly and produced results I am as happy with as the project on which John worked. His personality is warm, friendly and easy to work with. He is a great listener and was able to translate our wants, needs and desires into reality. I could not more highly recommend any architect / designer if you are in need of the services he provides. I would never consider working with anyone else.”

“We bought an home that had been built in the 1950's in Tampa, Florida. It had been added to by previous owners and was a stylistic mess. It was very run down too. I hired the Architect Bradley Smith to renovate the home. He did an amazing job in sprucing it up and making it look more cohesive. The exterior was beautiful after he was finished renovating it. He was very careful about details too. He has wonderful taste. He was easy to work with and we worked well together. He stayed within the budget limits and was very professional. I highly reccomend him.”

“Dean designed and oversaw construction of a large addition. We interviewed several architects. He was attentive in listening to our vision and presented several design alternatives that showed amazing creativity and sensitivity to budget. Throughout the process he kept us apprised of progress and was humorous in dealing with unexpected issues that arose during construction. The process was truly collaborative, but Dean would be frank in letting you know where he thought mistakes were being made in choices along the way. I would not hesitate to use him again. In fact, I have.”
