“Mike at Premium was a tremendous help in the complete renovation and remodelling of several properties in Victoria. His expertise and knowledge of both the design and construction of a complex project like these helped make them all successful. There were many design decisions that were needed to maximize the usability of the space, as we transferred many of the properties into highly desirable rental suites. Our tenants loved the final designs. Mike's expertise about the the full project scope (design, permits, construction, market) prevented us from making costly mistakes, while also enhancing the properties in their completed state. We will continue to work with Mike, and can't recommend him enough. The projects that we completed with Mike yielded properties that were instantly rented to long term tenants.”

“Having built two homes before, we were impressed with what Step One Design had to offer and commissioned Mike to draw up the plans for our current home. Mike arranged to meet with us at our lot, listened to our ideas and offered feedback and suggestions to come up with a plan that fit us perfectly based on our wants and needs. He was accessible, easy to communicate with and provided the plans on schedule. Step one Design brought together our vision while paying attention to practicality, finances and the aesthetics of the home. We were extremely happy with Mike’s work, would use his professional expertise again and would not hesitate to recommend him to others.”

“Designward not only developed the renovation plans and provided the interior design services, they managed the total process. Their ability to work with the contract manager and the various skilled artisans resulted in outcomes beyond our expectations. Because of the distance between our two homes (about 2500 miles), we relied heavily on Designward to insure that all the aspects of a major renovation, furniture purchase,delivery,installation and arrangement fell into place in a timely manner. Their guidance creating an home that fells like "our home not the designer's " is one characteristic that makes Designward a top quality firm. The fact that Bonnie and Don are easy to work with and responsive to our needs made this daunting task enjoyable. We highly recommend Designward but only if you are interested in highly skilled professional services that produce quality results.”

“Uta Nagel developed a fabulous graphic for a mosaic strip to refresh the existing exterior entrance of Welch Hall. The image of a forest in white and greens creates an effective counterpoint to the 1960's cast in place concrete facade and signals a major building addition and renovation. We had a good working relationship and I would gladly work UTANAGEL DESIGN again.”

“Gillian helped me to redecorate my condominium. I am thrilled with the results as well as the fact that she was able to work within my budget (which was not very large). She did a wonderful job of getting a sense of my current decor and my style. She was then able to help me transform my home while working with most of my existing belongings.
