“Alessandra supported us with our kitchen renovation. She spent with us half day at Magnet to design our kitchen, select the materials and the colours. She was very careful and detailed oriented to make sure the kitchen we were getting was exactly what we needed/wished for. Important to note that Alessandra is open find solution for what you need/wish for (different from other architects who wants to put their mark and leave their “stamp” in their designs). She did delivered not a kitchen, but what we called a master piece of art - her careful selection of colour and materials + solutions to corners and panels at the top/at the bottom to hide electrics paid off having her in that work. Everyone who comes to our house or lastly who sees our kitchen from Zoom/Skype or Team spots how beautiful it is (not only beautiful, but for us who uses the kitchen it is entirely functional, easy to clean and all sorted). Thank you Alessandra - you made us very happy and ensured lockdown could be easily managed with our new lovely and super functional (easy to clean) kitchen! Before Alessandra - red kitchen. After Alessandra - the modern, atemporal grey/blue kitchen (please see pictures).”

“We decided to award Home Architecture the design contract for a large rear extension we had planned for our 1930s house. The designed drawing by Mike had some design options that at the time we had not considered. With this open advice and forward thinking vision we approved modification for the final drawing sign off. Its now some eight years since we had the extension done and still very much appreciated the input we had from the architects. The rear extension in brief consisted of a approx 6m x 4m single story extension, with tiled roof , velux windows and Bi-fold doors across the rear to open up onto hard wood decking. I would recommend Home Architecture if you are considering building works small or large.”

“Kennet Design were so professional from beginning to end of our extension project and we really felt we had a personal touch and that they really cared about our plans and vision. The plans that were drawn up were brilliant and gave our builders the precise information they needed to carry out the work to regulation standard - even in a way that we understood, so we could keep an eye on the build and progress. “I engaged Chris to draw up plans for a house extension and garage conversion into an office and shed. I was extremely impressed with Chris's attitude and professionalism throughout the whole process. He kept me informed of his work, advised me where necessary and came to see me at regular intervals to review the design and ensure I understood all aspects of the work clearly. Chris's knowledge through the planning process was invaluable and helped get this approved effortlessly. His detailed and thorough plans and drawings meant that the builders (a number of whom Chris recommended) could price up this work in an accurate manner and provide detailed timelines for the project. Which as a project manager myself was great to see! There is absolutely no doubt I would use Chris again for any other projects and have happily recommended him to friends and family.”

“Our grade two listed 400 year old cottage is situated in as sensitive conservation area. There were many challenges, not least, ensuring our neighbours were happy with the end result. David's expertise in all aspects is outstanding. The planning officer considered the finished product to be one of the best and most harmonious relationships and our parish council, believes our cottage to be the showcase of the village. The brief was to be sympathetic to the age and area, but contemporary and fundamentally our home. David took our brief and enhanced -by discussion- virtually every aspect of the design and build. This was a big, complex project lasting nine months. Four years on, we wouldn't change any detail. We would be delighted to speak or indeeed show our beautiful cottage to any prospective client. Additionally, David is a delight to work with and a major part of the success was due to David's calm, diligent and professional manner throughout.”

“Our experience with Go plans has been excellent. They arranged a home visit at very short notice, listened to our suggestions and compiled the initial drawings relatively quickly. They also successfully handled the whole planning permission process for us and provided a very fast and professional response to the requests and changes requested by the planning officer. We would definitely use them again for future work.”

“Our conservatory included a kitchen, dining room/lounge with no doors & a plastic roof so we were very cold in the winter. We contacted Building Tectonics who transformed our uncomfortable space into a very light garden room by taking the walls down between the kitchen & dining room/lounge & adding a proper roof. We now enjoy cooking, eating & relaxing in a great open space”
