Their designs and working drawings are always thoroughly though out making the building process efficient and effective. ZSA have a firm understanding of the cost of building which sets them apart from the rest. They have excellent spacial awareness and knowledge of construction which is critical to a good design. “Distinct Building Design (DBD) were one of two companies we contacted to design our new home. We selected them on the basis that they fully understood our requirements for a two-storey, 3-bedroom home which left plenty of room for a back garden. They submitted an initial design which, by and large, is the home we ended up with. The other company, for whatever reason, couldn't/wouldn't do this, insisting on 4 bedrooms, with bedrooms on the ground floor and living upstairs. DBD recommended bathroom and kitchen designers as well as suppliers of tiles and all other hardware as the build progressed. They were very pro-active, with the design, during the construction period. The result was a wonderful home that we are extremely pleased with and would be happy to recommend DBD to other prospective users.”

“Edward from Hutch Architecture has been very easy to work with. Our property is in a heritage area and Edward dealt with this in a professional way and managed to get the DA approved without any hiccups. We are very pleased with the design of our double garage/studio and the way it all flows from our existing house. We are looking forward to commencing our build.”

“It took us several years to find the right architect - Debra was recommended to us by two different people - by a builder who had worked with her and by a friend who was Debra's client. Debra was able to design something that was a great home for the family and took advantage of the house's position and view - and she kept within our budget! She is great at the technical and creative aspects of her profession, but the upsell with Debra is her relationship and communication skills. Our job ran smoothly - not only because of the quality of the workmanship of our builder who she helped us choose - but also because Debra's communication style was considered, open and consultative - she acted as the perfect go-between for us all and issues were resolved quickly and easily. We've had many friends whose building projects have turned into nightmares - but ours was very hassle-free and much of the thanks for that goes to Deb!”

“It was an absolute pleasure working with Troy and Abigail. Troy carefully listened and used our input from first design through to the completed project. This was done in a in a truly collaborative way, with both us the clients, and the builder. The house functions incredibly efficiently environmentally in spite of our south facing and narrow frontage. Every view and aspect has framed beautifully and adds pleasure to each and everyday. We fall asleep watching the stars and appreciate way the sea breeze has been fully utilised to cool the house. We have loved entertaining our friends and family in our delightful new home.”

“We have worked with Rustic Touch on and off for 7 years, and have engaged them to design and build two large homes as well as a renovation to another. You often hear dreadful stories about the relationship between builders and clients. Fortunately every experience we have had has been fantastic, which is probably why we have used their services more than once. Tony and Deb are incredibly professional in their approach to every part of the build. They are both very talented in design and build and it is because of them that we have a house that we absolutely love. We could not recommend them highly enough.”

“We found Craig Blencowe through recommendations on social media when we were searching for a draftsman for our new home extension. From very first contact, Craig was incredible. Very knowledgeable, was happy to make suggestions for design, extremely thorough and did very well to put our minds at ease during a stressful and new venture for us. We continued to contact Craig at any time via email or phone to ask questions we weren't sure about and it was never a problem, nothing was ever an issue for Craig. We work closely with the principal of Carste Studios on a regular basis to fulfil the requirements of heritage oversight on multiple projects on our historic site. The principal is also engaged in overseeing the development of plans and project management for complex heritage matters relating to our buildings. Work includes: ongoing review of heritage buildings, design and implementation of WHS and access solutions on the site, and design and management of restoration projects.”

“I contacted Anthony Parker through Houzz. From the very first phone call I found Anthony to be totally professional and courteous. He visited our site at Gorokan and discussed the many options available to us. Our project was a dual occupancy with a 2 lot subdivision. Anthony produced his first concept designs and we met several times to discuss alternatives and different options. We are now nearing completion of the project ( first one complete and occupied) and could not be more pleased with the relationship that has been developed between ourselves and Parker & Associates. The process was particularly smooth from concept to DA and CC approval. I have since recommended Anthony and his team to several associates and will continue to do so. We will definitively use Parker & Associates on future projects.”
