“Elma Gardner is a very talented designer and a fun person to work with. We originally contacted her to help us with the kitchen and bathroom cabinetry design and install for our new home. She offers all the design help needed to complete a project. First, she presented a couple of different layouts for us to consider. The designs were fantastic. Then she scheduled appointments for us to meet with her at several different showrooms including: lighting, plumbing, appliance, and tile showrooms. She listened to what we wanted and helped us make good choices. She was available to meet at the job site during construction. Elma runs a great business; she is very organized, efficient and accommodating. She gets things done on time and she is easy to contact by phone, email or in person. The cabinetry company that she works with makes high quality, beautiful cabinets.”

“Mark was recommended to us by a local contractor, and he turned out to be great throughout the entire process. He did conceptual drawings and then the full set of plans for a major remodel on our Spanish revival home in 2009. We had alot of our own ideas and he respected them, all the while adding his own input and rolling it all together into a stunning final result. Most of the work centered around a kitchen remodel and adding a covered back porch and entry from the driveway. There was also a bath room laundry room, office area and dining room with a fireplace. He was very pleasant to work with (easy going, nice guy, etc) which helps enormously when you're trying to get the mental images of what you want on to paper. One thing still stands out is that his plans were so thorough and full of so many details. Very impressive work, and our project wasn't easy.”

“I feel so fortunate to have met Sarah Lee when I initially walked into Guchi Interior Design. She has a solid background in design and is very experienced. She listened to my quirky ideas and my tendency to love bling. The results were master and guest bathrooms which would be described as timeless classic with some sparkle. She added new products which we love and took my request for an under the counter hair dryer/curling iron holder in stride. Sarah coordinated my idea with Guchi Interior’s master craftsman and I LOVE IT!!!! She was always responsive to our questions and concerns. We have signed on for a kitchen remodel and cannot wait to see the finished product!”

Our home is a combination of Italian and French design. Everything was done to a tee! “I hired Jeff to develop plans for me on a house I was flipping in west Oakland. He is the best designer/Builder I have worked with. Jeff drew the plans and made everything ready for me to bring to the city for permits, Oakland gave me no problems and accepted his plans with no review saving me time and money. His expertise with design software not only makes for a better finished product, but also moves the process along very quickly. He brought me through the design process with him on (Go to meeting). Where I was able to give feedback and make some input right from my own iPad, pretty cool process. I highly recommend Rexford Design and will be using his services on my next project!”

“I love this house every single day I'm in it. And some make a credible argument that our detached bedroom, added later, also by their design, is the best part! Inside and out flow seamlessly, which is what our psyches need. Recently we made a rookie mistake. We needed help with big plans for landscaping to be integrative with our big add-on deck. We first turned to a landscape person...FAIL. We so should have turned to Designworks first. We pitched the landscape person's lame 'concept.'; We are building to Designworks plans. (Did i mention they provided valuable consultation that added to the transformation remodel of our Boulder City desert home?)”

“Knutson Architecture provided us with plans for a complete renovation/addition on a 1915 home in Sacramento. They were professional, easy to work with, and communicated with us every step of the way. We ran into some structural problems along the way, and Eric Knutson took care of hiring a structural engineer for us so that we did not lose too much time with new plans, changes, etc. He helped us stay on budget and on track in regards to all the renovations and changes needed. I would highly recommend Knutson Architecture for any job needed...big or small. It was a complete pleasure working with them!”

“Mike was great to work with. We are converting our garage to a bedroom, bathroom, and laundry room and the plans came out better than we could have imagined. Mike and his team were very responsive and helpful throughout the entire process and also recommended contractors. Will definitely be working with Mike on our next project!”
