“I'm a photographer and Guy Hawson, who happens to be my brother, recently helped me with a large-scale, over-sized illustration I needed for a job I was working on. Despite the fact I've known him all my life and have seen hundreds of examples of his work, he never ceases to amaze me with his skill, talent and professional attitude. He's a true artist, someone capable of painting or illustrating pretty much anything a client requires. I am a huge fan and recommend him highly. “After seeing his work displayed in a gallery, I first commissioned Simon in around 2009 to do a painting for my home based on his gum flowers series. He was responsive, helpful and knowledgable. He came to my house and helped me choose the location and size of the painting, as well as to gain an understanding of what I wanted in the painting. He gave me a fixed price and sent me some mock-ups after his visit so that I could picture what the final painting would look like in my house. The finished product was exactly what I was after and takes pride of place in the centre of my lounge room. He even hung the painting for me! In around 2013 I commissioned Simon to do a second painting for my home based on his gum pods series. Again, he assisted me with the size and style of the painting during the commissioning process, and I was again extremely happy with the result. I am a big fan of Simon's work and my experiences with him have been professional and rewarding. I would highly recommend him.”

“Such a beautiful artist (I was lucky enough to meet Nicole in person at a Finders Keepers Market) and love the Nature and Botanical Journals - we stock them in our shop and our little customers love how it gets them to explore outside and show of their creative skills. Thank you for creating such a beautiful product that encourages kids and adults to go out and experience nature, to take in its beauty and appreciate it for being there to enjoy.”
