“We did the rounds of designers before engaging Ivy + Piper for our renovation of a 25 year old resort in Vanuatu. Our brief was vague, but we knew actually how we wanted the resort to feel. Melanie and Elizabeth came back with a design that not only represented who we were but how Vanuatu as a small group of Islands in the South Pacific feels and lives. They included our incredible history, our sunsets, our people and local craftmanship. We had a wonderful and easy relationship with 2 site visits and the rest by email. “We engaged Paul Brundell to design our new home in approximately January 2015. The home was completed in November 2015 . Our decision to build was because we were requiring a home suitable for our retirement- the block posed some difficulties because it is a 'small lot ' of 254m2 and in a heritage conservation zone- Paul gave us a huge amount of confidence from our very first meeting- he has designed a perfectly orientated home to enjoy winter sunshine , summer breezes- natural light and great living spaces- it is highly effective as a passive energy user . Paul was great to work with from our own point of view and our builder also enjoyed working with him. Thanks to Paul Brundell building design we have a home that is both aesthetically and practically is truly something we can be proud of . Many thanks Paul Brundell from Lynette and Malcolm Bond.”

“From start to finish, the plantation shutters purchased from InHome Decore went super smoothly. Initial phone conversations, sending photos to confirm the install site, the quote and ETA, the delivery and then installation - I could not have asked for more! Ross answered my questions quickly and with obvious industry knowledge - really helps put your mind at rest for a big investment at home. Due to the Christmas break the expected arrival was late January - the pallet and large mailing tubes arrived 2 days before Christmas! The guys had to bring a forklift to unload and were so helpful in getting it all around into the back yard - they really went above and beyond, and this was all inclusive in the purchase price of the shutters. I would highly recommend Ross and Gwendolyn of InHome Decor to anyone.”

“We saw a very long chesterfield in an hotel in the main street of the Hobart CBD and the workmanship on such a large ( I guess about an 11 person version) leather chesterfield and that was our decision maker for ordering what we wanted from within Australia as this allows for a chesterfield that has not been sprayed by customs with formaldehyde which is not a good health prospect. We arranged for a 3 seater chesterfield with special visual adjustments to be commissioned and also shipped our 2 Jason recliners to be recovered in the same leather and to match in the same design and the workmanship was absolutely excellent and although it took longer to be finished than we expected the final result was worth our patience. The long distance removal and delivery of the finish product was arranged in a timely manner and the fees they obtained form the carrier were also excellent. Buy Australian and keep the home fires burning. Have no hesitation in highly recommending.”
