“John Varney is a true craftsman. I have used him on many projects over the years and all were finished with the highest quality and care. My last project with him was a huge remodel and the kitchen part of the project was so lovely that it landed on a magazine cover. Can't say enough good things about him, his work, and his standards. John Stapp has the ability and expertise to not only figure out complicated details, but to execute them in the most gorgeous way! I enjoy collaborating with John as he is able to show me ‘best practices’ when designing time and time again... the attention to detail and craftsmanship make our projects look so good!! This shop is top notch.”

“I first used ODC for the tile work in the kitchen, bathrooms and entry area at my house. Since then they have done many interior and exterior jobs for me – painting, dry rot repairs, installing electrical and plumbing fixtures. They always do very good work at a reasonable price and figure out cost effective solutions to problems. They finish on schedule and clean up when they are done.”

“I hired Robby to install a mantle on top of my very blah fireplace and he did an excellent job! He came over for an initial consultation, took measurements, listened to me, and then took a few weeks to complete the project. When he returned it took a few short hours to install and viola, our living room was transformed! He was very responsive and easy to work with, and I love my mantle. I would definitely hire him again.”

“Lawrence is the go-to guy if you wanna have a customized solid wood furniture piece. He helped me design and make a beautiful walnut dining table from sratch and everything along the process was a wonderful experience. He hand-selected the raw wood slab, showed me various combinations of how he would put them together, painted a number of wood samples and showed it to me before he applied it to the table just to help visualize the real effects. Communicating with Lawrence was very casual and easy, and he was extremely patient when it came to the times I wanted a change on the original design. My dining table turned out to be a masterpiece in my eyes and everybody liked it.”

“Our experience with Josh was pure joy. We worked with Josh on custom furniture. First a dining table after discovering his work at a Blue Bottle Coffee shop, then later went back to him for a pair of bed side tables. Josh is experienced and pays great attention to detail; he designs based on our needs and to the surroundings of the furniture piece. Our projects were a great collaborative process. We appreciate Josh's design approach, professionalism, and sincerity. We highly recommend Josh for any woodwork. Our dining table and bed side tables remain our favorites in the apartment.”

“beautiful vanity/cabinet for our bathroom. Due to size of bathroom, Philip had to design and build to fit into an unusually sized space. He listened to us and created what we wanted. It is simple, elegant and also built a facing for our jacuzzi tub that complements the vanity and had to be built so that within the design, there was access to repair the tub if ever necessary. He was timely, worked very cooperatively with our contractor and we are very very happy with his work. Highly recommend him for skill, responsiveness, integrity and cooperativeness and he LIstens!”
