“Construction Ahead took my outdated, childhood home and turned it into a completely different space with a dream kitchen, fabulous master on main, and an award winning master bathroom. And, of course, my husband's favorite, the screened in porch with wood-burning fireplace. My family used to refer to the traditional floor plan as an "ant-farm" and now we have open spaces that flow together perfectly. Living through the construction was actually a fun experience. Well,except not having a working kitchen! We had something new to see everyday and were kept updated on the schedule. We knew what was coming and when. The crew kept everything super neat and the only complaints we had about construction dust was because of our dog! And nothing was more fun than working through the designs! We were given numerous options and color renderings of what the space would look like. I still love comparing the renderings to the final photos. It's been 2 years since the construction was complete and the place is still like new!”

“I’m really thankful I found the team at GHIR Construction. I have never been a do-it-yourself person – I’m just not that talented or so inclined. When asked if I wanted to pick out my own colors/cabinets/countertops - I replied I’d rather be at the beach! Last time a vendor asked me to pick out my choices/colors – it was 5+ years ago and they are still waiting! I realized I was in trouble when I stood in a store for an hour going in circles and ending up with nothing chosen. When I was shopping around for a remodeler this go-around, GHIR asked if I wanted to work with one of the design consultants – I leaped at that choice! Their design consultant looked at my outdated kitchen (22-year-old space) and postage stamp size living room and offered me choices of design changes, plus he narrowed down the color/cabinet choices! Now I have a very beautiful kitchen, bathrooms and functional space throughout the main area that flows. These guys are awesome, the end results were much more than I expected. GHIR Construction took my house from a basic subdivision home to a custom elegant home plus added functionality.”

THEN, they went and did a GREAT job on our kitchen renovation... Here's what we had them do: - Open up a wall between our living room and kitchen - Oak threshold install (between living room and kitchen) - New ceiling in the kitchen - Light drywall repair - Light fixture installs (chandelier, pendants and recessed lighting) - New light switch w/ dimmer for pendants - Dimmer switches on existing light switches - Light carpentry work for cabinet molding - Touch up painting I highly recommend LDC for your home project!”

“David Hawkes completely rebuilt our deck earlier this year. After weeks of attempting to comply with the requirements of city of Johns Creek, he was finally able to get started. BTW, in order to comply, David had to produce at least a dozen architectural quality drawings and meet with city engineers, which he did so willingly. In spite of many rain delays, David completed the deck in a reasonable amount of time. When the inspector came out for the final inspection, he was amazed at the quality of the deck and the amount of hardware used in its construction. He said he had never seen anything like it and that it far exceeded code. David even built my wife a beautiful swing that really looks great. We are so satisfied with David's expertise that we are using him to renovate our bathrooms. We very highly recommend him for any construction needs.”
