“Our entire experience with Hearth & Home was extraordinary! Megan was so knowledgeable, and helped us to pick out a perfect gas insert and quality, beautiful materials for our fireplace remodel. (My father and I built the oak mantel.) Jim completed the work in our home. He is a meticulous, highly skilled, and courteous craftsman. His consideration toward keeping our home so clean during the project was an added bonus! I know this took extra time and we appreciated his attention to every detail each time he worked in our home. “The showroom is set up to show you what can go wrong with certain types of fireplace design. Very educational. We ordered our fireplace around the holidays so there was a delay, but the company was clear and honest about what to expect. (Tip: don't wait until November!) Overall I think prices were good compared to other places that we went to. Our unit was pretty basic, but these guys do a lot of high end projects too. The installation went well and was professional. My only concern which could make this a 4.5 star is that there was a gap on the right side of the unit where the unit met the floor (which is normal with the way houses settle), but they told us that we could fix that by adding caulking, and I felt that that should have been part of the installation process for a "completed" look. Perhaps they did not offer because the unit is unfinished oak, and we planned on staining the wood? Either way, very happy with overall purchase. The fireplace is the my favorite purchase of 2016.”

“Battlefield Hearth & Solar have been outstanding. They have repaired and replaced parts in my aging pellet stove on three occasions and my propane stove once. They know their business and have been friendly and professional. They also installed an outside awning over my deck. Great job and provided me with information on my I need an attachment to close the awning during high winds. Saved my awning when I was away from home during summer storms. They also installed an indoor opaque sun screen on my sliding glass door. Great addition and at a great cost.”

“I ordered replacement zero clearance doors for my prefab condo fireplace since I was also redoing the fireplace surround. Service was excellent--the associate helped me in taking the measurements over the phone. I can't comment on the install because a worker did that for me. The doors look and function so much better than my old brass ones!”
