“We spent months looking for a suitable builder. We made a decision within days that Mark was the right fit for us. The quality of his workmanship in not only his own house but projects he has since completed for us and friends is second to none. We were surprised at the amount of time Mark spends on site as well. We had spoken to others who struggled to get in contact with their builder.building company but Mark was always available and if he was unable to be reached we would always receive a call back within 24 hours. We can't recommend him highly enough and continue to recommend him to others at any opportunity as we know he won't make a mockery of us.”

“David Spees and his team at Against the Grain are the holy grail of builders! They were highly professional and produced a result exceeding our expectations. All the tradesmen were highly skilled, a pleasure to deal with, courteous and always left the property tidy every day. The entire team worked as if the house were their own. David made invaluable suggestions in regards to layout and fittings, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Communication was excellent throughout the process. “Hume Building were amazing to build with. Stephen was friendly and accommodating right from the start. We were able to get a custom build that was exactly what we wanted and was built to the highest of standards. Nothing was too difficult for them and they were able to accommodate every request. They communicated with us every step of the way. We got to walk through and choose exactly where we wanted our electrical fittings too, which was a real bonus! The girls who helped with our colour selections and fit outs were great to deal with and the standard of inclusions was very high compared to other builders. Our double-storey, custom build took only 6 months to build and we can't fault it. Highly recommend Hume Building to anyone looking to build something special that is unique, high-quality and feels like home.”

“in 2018, we undertook three builds all at once and nothing was too hard for Xclusiv Built Projects. They are patient (I'm a stickler for attention to detail and they handled me well :). They listen well and most importantly they have a great team to finish your project on time and on budget. We loved how they used an app to ensure we were aware of all additional costs if they arose, plus allowed everyone to refer to the latest plans so it ensured no mistakes. “Dobsonei provided a realistic and well considered fixed price contract to renovate and extend a very dilapidated 1883 Victorian Terrace house (4 bedrooms, double garage) versus other competing quotes that were all provided on a cost plus basis only. The project was completed on schedule and with only very minimal variations added on which was remarkable considering the number of unknown factors involved in renovating a 130 year old house that had been severely neglected and even had a Council sticker warning people not to enter.”
