“Tom Phenicie is a high integrity person, and this is the primary reason I hired him to build my home and every project needed at rental and commercial properties I own. I do not shop on competitive bids for my projects because there really are no competitors to Tom. Materials cost what they do regardless of the contractor so the only difference possible is the person on the job. My primary residence recently appraised at over 1 million, a 60% appreciation in 12 years! Quality that stands the test of time is why Tom is currently estimating a second recreational home in a neighboring state for my wife and I. We will have to pay more due to travel distance and out of state licensing, but frankly Tom is worth it. Cost figures below are for most recent commercial project.”

“Redline has done several jobs for us to include window sill repair,electrical addition and relocation ,cabinet relocation and plastering. I have also had estimates provided for additional work to include a covered porch and bathrooms renovation. The work will be done by Redline when we can schedule. We have found the owner and his talented team or employees to be very professional in providing a high quality of finished work.When they committed to do the work we found them to be reliable in completion of the job. It is our opinion that this will be an ongoing relationship.”

“Our experience with Venture builders was wonderful. One bathroom was completly renovated for use by my handicapped mother: the other partially updated. Everything that we needed was thought through and we were offered advice and choices at every step. The people they brought in to do the electrical, plumbing and painting were not only good at their job but good people. I recommend them highly and will use them again.”

“Darwin is a skilled, thoughtful contractor who prioritizes doing the the job right. He put a two room addition with a screen porch on our cabin in July 2015, cedar siding in October, and built a 12x16 cedar shed in March 2016. During the addition build, Darwin expressed concern about potential ice/water issues given the pitch of the new roof we had designed. He drew out alternative plans and offered to do the extra work without charge, because he wanted the final product to be well constructed. It turned out amazing and definitely exceeded expectations. His experience and capability were a huge asset on this project. Additionally, he finished the job ahead of schedule and was just a nice guy about everything. We hired him again last fall to put up new cedar siding, and it turned out beautifully. This March, he built our garage/shed. To our surprise, he hand crafted fantastic cedar herringbone doors for us, because he wanted the project to have a special look to match the cabin. The doors are almost too lovely for an outbuilding, and demonstrate Darwin's outstanding design capability and work ethic. He has consistently gone above and beyond on every job, and his workmanship is phenomenal. We would definitely hire him again and highly recommend him.”

“Vailes has done two major projects for us. In 2018 we had a new heat pump installed and had a screened in porch built. In both cases Vailes was very professional and did an excellent job. Our new heat pump works very well and keeps the house comfortable year around. The screened in porch is beautiful It was built using ipe wood and cat-proof screen. We and the cats enjoy it.”

“AGYC CONSTRUCTION JUST COMPLETED A CONCRETE RETAINING WALL FOR me at my personal Residence. They did a great job and finished it quickly. They cleaned up their work area and “IT LOOKS GREAT”. “We sought a basic inground, liner pool 12' x 32' and solicited a couple of local bids from inground pool contractors. I called Augusta Aquatics after two bids were received, which were higher than our budget. Tim Coleman, came to our home and listened to our suggestions for a pool area that had sufficient room for reclining chairs and tables, was aesthetically connected to the house and had an attractive fence surrounding it. Tim provided us with a budget that was lower than the prior bids we received. The pool design had cantilever edges fabricated in a light colored cement, as was the entire surrounding deck poured in the same light colored cement over form rebar. One of the pool side lengths was about 11' wide, which incorporated the sitting and lounging area. The other three sides were 4' wide. The cantilever edging gave the pool a modern look and Tim installed 4' wide steps of the same color as the liner. The pump, filter and fixtures were quality products as was the heavy white vinyl fencing, which included a double door that when open gave the entrance an open, airy view. The cover had spring fittings, with flush fixtures installed into the cement deck. Tim recommended a pool salt chloronator, which is almost maintenance free. Tim used padded stainless steel pool wall supports. This was a quality installation for a very reasonable cost. Thank you Tim.”
