My house was built in 1903 and very little had been done in the following century. Stage 1 of the renovation was a complete strip out of the upper level, and new build downstairs to make a two level home.
Shane and his team offer a high level of personalised service, their attention to detail is first class, and the team and all contractors were always respectful, approachable and professional.
Coming from a design background, I wanted to be involved in the building process. I was always consulted regarding any changes which needed to be made and Shane always responded to any questions I had.
We have just completed Stage 2, which was a deck, garages and fences, and once again the process was seamless, with the same high quality finish.
Shane and the team are very well organised, with quality workmanship throughout and attention to detail.
The process has been extremely enjoyable and I am thrilled with the outcome of my home.

“Investwell completed a major renovation and extension of our 110 year old workers cottage, turning it from borderline uninhabitable to an exceptionally stylish, functional and warm family home. After speaking with ten builders, and meeting and getting quotes from four, it was clear to me that Wade and his team were head and shoulders above the rest, with the added bonus of not presenting a hugely inflated budget.
The things I found most remarkable about Investwell were:
- their excellent communication - they were available to answer any question at almost all hours, and never hid behind jargon or bravado.
- their ability to problem solve- there were some big surprises during our renovation and each time Wade came to us with thoughtful and cost-effective options.
- they really know what they are doing and give great design advice- the aspect of our house means it could become dark but Wade and his team made some clever design suggestions to address this.
- their commitment- they did what they said and said what they did, they turned up early and left late, and worked weekends to keep their word.
I would recommend Investwell wholeheartedly to anyone building or renovating their home”
