“Bill and his team were recommended to us by some friends who had work done by the them. We're so pleased that we took their recommendation because from the first time we met Bill, right through the build and onto the completion of the project we have been thoroughly impressed with the professionalism and expertise of himself and his staff. We planned to extend our house at the back and to the side (which we have done) but with advice and suggestions from Bill, who was able to guide us during the whole design process, we have managed to gain so much more from the build than we originally anticipated. Bill reconfigured the layout to allow us to also have space for a downstairs toilet/wet room and also a laundry room. He did all of this without compromising on the other key features we wanted to incorporate into our new kitchen/family room and study area. Bill also suggested installing 5 Bi-Fold doors across the back of the house instead of the planned windows and patio doors and the result is amazing. We now have maximum light and a feeling of space all day long as well as an uninterrupted view of the garden. Everything came in on budget and we're confident that no corners were cut to achieve this. I honestly can't recommend Bill and his team highly enough. They are friendly, trustworthy and reliable - exactly what you want when you have strangers working in your home”

“Piotr's undertaken a range of jobs for me, from minor alterations to full scale refurbishments and extensions, and the quality of his work and after care service has never been less than excellent. He's helpful, affable and always contactable and as a result has been very busy in my neighbourhood.”

“I had an extension built on my kitchen and another store added to my garage and cannot thank to CC builders enough for the end result. They actually finished the job earlier than anticipated and were very courteous and a pleasure to have around. The work they completed was extensive, but they got on with it, with no issues or having to be rained off. They were very competitive on price too comparing with quotes from other builders i did before, which was an added bonus.”

“Just excellent. Having had a terrible experience with a bad builder on our last renovation, I was very careful, and hit gold with these guys. Not the cheapest builder that I have worked with (but not the priciest either). But by far the best. Friends of mine recently took a cheaper quote after talking to DeCrew and going with a cheaper quote with a smaller company - they are now in penalty clauses on the contract, unable to move in, and in real trouble: significantly over budget. They should have used DeCrew. My massive project was habitable and decorated in 3 months. I did not believe Maciek when he told me he would do it. With a minimum of 6 people (and up to 10) on site any given day, all day, and his personal attention, they were done earlier than his estimate. Below are links to the story on here that so many of you commented on and lived through with me. Maciek and Konrad are exactly what I wanted - young, interested, full of enthusiasm, eyes for detail and with a strong team that meant they finished on schedule, and on budget. Transparent quoting, responsive, and fair. They ran a particularly complicated build for me as I was on a VAT reduction entitlement as the building had been abandoned for a while - as they are a proper, VAT registered company, this was no problem for them. And just really nice people - my wife and I loved them and welcomed them to our home. We still owe them a barbecue/Sunday lunch as a thank you, in fact. And the true test of a builder is what happens when things go wrong. A full year after the house was finished, they are returning to snag things: as Maciek said: "let it settle for a year through all the seasons, then we will fix stuff". And, more seriously, when an old ceiling collapsed during the renovation, they were in and fixing it (perfectly) within days - at Christmas time. https://www.houzz.co.uk/discussions/4802325/victorian-house-inspiration-please https://www.houzz.co.uk/discussions/4911251/victorian-renovation-in-london-part-2 https://www.houzz.co.uk/discussions/5007838/victorian-renovation-in-london-part-3-finish-line https://www.houzz.co.uk/discussions/5234656/victorian-renovation-in-london-part-4-snagging-and-garden https://www.houzz.co.uk/discussions/5760143/victorian-renovation-in-london-part-5-outdoors#24627717 https://www.flickr.com/photos/reshington/albums/72157684375457971 https://www.houzz.co.uk/ideabooks/110103796/list/our-home”

“Rob and his colleagues built a garage and did a garage conversion to the original garage. I can fully recommend S&S to anyone, the attention to detail is first class and several neighbours have told me of their 'garage envy' following the work! I would use the company again without hesitation and have already recommended them to a neighbour (who has hired them!)”

J White Developments
Heritage Building Conservation Services in Odiham, Hampshire, UK
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars18 February 2021
“I've used J White Developments for a number of years. The projects have been varied in size and type but have always been done well and at a reasonable cost. The owner, Josh, has an extensive understanding of the building trade and has been able to advise and recommend solutions for every problem I have given him. He has always kept me informed on costs and timings and comes in on budget unless we agree changes. When he has used sub-contractors he has always overseen their work to make sure it is up to standard. Examples of larger projects: Lifting and re-laying the stone terrace around the property. Replacing a drain that regularly overflowed with a larger capacity one and redesigning soak-away Smaller project examples: Renovating wooden floors, replacing and installing lights for pictures, repairing garden lighting, perimeter fence repairs.”
