“Pat and his crew did a major renovation, including a two level addition, on our 50 year+ brick home. He kept us informed throughout of unexpected developments and their consequences, including costs, and offered helpful advice on the ways to address them. His crew was conscientious, respectful and cleaned up to allow us to live in the home through the bulk of the construction. Pat liaised effectively with kitchen installers and others needed throughout the project. His team's work was of consistent high quality. Since completing the first renovation we have hired Pat again for two additional projects - a renovation of our basement bedroom and bathroom, and the installation of a new fence. All of these projects have been completed beyond our expectations. I have no hesitation in highly recommending Pat and his team.”

“I live in an older home and completed the first half of a large renovation that included lots of nasty work - removing old solarium, plumbing, electrical....complete bathroom renovation, built-in cabinets, moldings, painting, plaster repair, fixtures.......They did a great job! Easy to work with/communicate with. They were honest and detail oriented. They made lots of great suggestions and shared ideas based on experience. They have become my "go to guys" for my small jobs and I will be using them again for my next large project.”

“Keith Sawlor and his team were everything they claim and more. We love our house! And we loved working with them. We were impressed with how respectful everyone was of our home during construction. No detail was forgotten. We were able to relax and enjoy the process because within a short time we knew that we could trust the Sawlor team. I am SO glad we chose Sawlor. Even now we can call and ask questions and always know that they will back their work. Our house was finished on time and on budget. The allowances were often more than we needed. We received credit if change orders were made in our favour. There were no surprises. It was so much fun building with them that we were a little sad when it was all done. They are worth every penny!”

“Picket Fence Homes (PFH) consistently provided a high level of service and professionalism during the construction of our home. We felt extremely comfortable with the quality of work and we were able to be an active part of the construction phase of our home. We were able to make changes to the design layout that suited our family's specific needs. The construction foremen were knowledgeable and helpful as we made decisions about our home during the construction phase. The personal website the builders offer allowed us to see the on-going progress of our home. The Builder Trend website included photos and calendars that kept us informed about timelines and updated us as jobs were completed. We could send messages directly to the project manager through the site if needed. The partnership between ourselves, our real estate agent, and PFH's agent was very open and any questions or changes were responded to in a timely manner. We felt our agent and PFH's agent were able to combine their professional knowledge and experiences to best serve our interests. The process of building a new home with PFH was a stress-free experience. Our family truly enjoyed each phase of construction and it positively influenced our transition into our home.”

“We hired Floran Lambie's firm to renovate our kitchen. I can't say enough good things about Floran and his crew. They did a wonderful job - we completely love our beautiful new kitchen. Floran was so lovely to work with: He has a quiet, respectful demeanour and is completely honest. He was true to his estimate for the job. When we made changes to the plans, he ensured we understood the financial impact of those changes. He listened to our ideas and designed a kitchen that met our needs and addressed our concerns. He offered good advice: we followed his advice on several issues and he was absolutely correct. Floran started our job exactly when promised and he completed the work in a reasonable amount of time, given some additional issues addressed. There were no delays in completing that inevitable final list of small items. Floran employs good and skilled tradespeople who were polite and respectful of both our property and our privacy. A kitchen renovation is quite an invasive project and Floran did everything possible to restrict the impact on us. We trust Floran and look forward to working with him again for our next project. We definitely recommend his firm for any renovation project.”
