“Gillian is a very approachable designer who really takes the time to learn what your style likes and dislikes are. She provides names and contacts of reliable tradies and firms, and is involved in the process all the way. It was Gillian who introduced me to the fabulous Houzz site, and together we built up a style file for the lounge area and the bathroom and powder room. She was able to liaise with the plumber so that we could understand what he meant with all the technical specs, and went around with him to make sure we were getting what we wanted when he came to measure and quote. Although we have not yet started the bathroom renovation, we have updated our kitchen dining area and it looks fantastic. I thoroughly recommend her services.”

“I engaged Sarah from Mi Designer to redecorate my boys bedrooms when we shifted them into new rooms and she came up with a complete concept, with a huge wallpaper map of the world for one, stampeding animals for the other, funky desks and chairs, floor rugs and lights. She really listed not just to me, but to the boys in working out what we'd all like and really nailed it. Each room looks very different but fantastic and the boys just love their rooms which is great. Sarah is lovely to deal with, smart and efficient. I work full time so really appreciate her straightforward style, she never wastes time and is always helpful. She even takes on extra tasks to get the job done, finding the right handyman to fix varioius things and just making it all easy. I will use Sarah for interior design again and again, in fact we're already talking about a few more projects around the house!”

“The brief for Helen was to inexpensively lighten and modernise our tired lounge-dining room. Helen recommended the following simple changes and this achieved the improved outcome.
Painting the dark timber white and adding a white mantelpiece gives it a fresh look.
The dark blue lounge previously looked out of place but by putting the single chairs across the window it opens the whole room up to the outside garden.
Changing the colour scheme of the walls from beige to light grey and the carpet from cream to a darker grey, tones in perfectly with the existing furniture.
By adding the floor rug and cushions in blue and white stripes, and removing some clutter from the shelves, we feel we have a new vibrant living space.
All this was achieved with the minimal expense of paint, carpet and a few soft furnishings and of course Helen's great eye for colour and design.
We're thrilled with the result!”
