“Naibu Design managed the interior design on our full-house renovation, in Malabar, Sydney in 2020. This included designing an ensuite bathroom, main bathroom and new kitchen, plus sourcing all lights, flooring, finishes and fittings for a 3-bedroom house with an outdoor pool-room/studio. Alison began by making sure she understood our functional needs as a family of four, as well as our aesthetic style, and then worked within the possibilities of the house itself and our budget to achieve a beautiful, usable space. I found her exceptional to work with - she is diligent, pragmatic and technical, but also creative and stylish, and you need all those qualities to deliver quality interior design. “The experience we had having Carmen from Collaborative interiors designing our house was beyond words but I’m going to try and do it justice in this review all the same. From the very start, we found Carmen was open to our ideas, our lifestyle and suggestions. She contributed to the layout of the rooms in the preliminary drawing of plans in a manner that allowed us to have the living area we always desired. Given that our renovation happened during the middle of the COVID mayhem didn’t make it easy to procure products and Carmen ensured everything we chose arrived and on time. Every part of our house has been designed tastefully and with us in mind. Furthermore, every room connects to another from a design perspective giving the overall effect of cohesion. Carmen was always a pleasure to work with, amenable to change of ideas on our part and always available when we panicked over things, with her ready, reassuring presence.
