“I have a house in west end which was originally a single level 3 bedroom workers cottage. The house was built in underneath 5 years ago and the upper level (original house) was left un touched and rented in its original state. For added income I decided to rent out the lower levels and moved into the upper one. I was struggling with ideas on how to get the original house (over one hundred years old) to blend in and work with the newer, more modern lower levels. I appointed Dani Louis, to initially get ideas on colour schemes, light fittings, kitchen and bathroom layouts etc. Dani, was extremely helpful and full of great ideas. The house has kept some of its original features ie VJ walls etc, but now blends in nicely, mixing old world with new. Dani has tremendous buying power and sources great deals on fittings, fixtures etc and passes on her savings for all items as part of her service, which was amazing because the savings added up to be a lot more than the fee she charged. I am a very happy customer and would highly recommend Dani Louis Design to anybody wanting to undertake any form of renovation or design consultation. He proved to be consistently patient, honest, a great mediator between my wife and me. But best of all, he has a good eye for the right balance between our style, his WOW factor input, and our low budget. So after he finished the first project, we introduced him to our new retirement apartment. “I recently engaged from Look Home Staging to provide advice to me on how to present our 3 bedroom home for sale. It was really important that we sold quickly and at the best possible price as we had already committed to a purchase elsewhere. Although I had some idea of how I felt the house could look at its best, when you are so used to your layout, furniture and possessions, it's quite hard in reality to fully appreciate how it will be viewed by potential buyers! Heidi gave me some honest and very helpful advice on what pieces should be removed or relocated, and also provided me with some artwork and some other ornamental pieces to highlight or hide certain areas. I must say it really improved the look and feel of the place. We received 10 offers within two days of the first open home and signed a contract that week for $30K more than we had expected to get!
