The fee for a one hour consultation paid for itself many, many times over in the amount added to the value of the home through following her suggestions. Unlike other stylists I have dealt with previously, Kirsty was not simply upselling hire of furniture/props through her - but she was mindful of the budget of the clients and gave outstanding advice as to how the house could best be presented by working with what already existed within the house. Kirsty was punctual, professional, her advice was spot on, and she was a pleasure to deal with at all times, and I genuinely cannot think of anything that would provide a better return on the investment for sellers or would-be sellers than to engage her.”

“I have a house in west end which was originally a single level 3 bedroom workers cottage. The house was built in underneath 5 years ago and the upper level (original house) was left un touched and rented in its original state. For added income I decided to rent out the lower levels and moved into the upper one. I was struggling with ideas on how to get the original house (over one hundred years old) to blend in and work with the newer, more modern lower levels. “I hired Chris from CG Design to design my studio in the colourful inner Sydney suburb of Newtown. I wanted a design that encapsulated the eclectic and original style of Newtown, at an affordable price point. I had viewed Chris's work when I lived in Brisbane, and some friends who worked in the design industry highly recommended him due to his experience in unique residential projects. Newtown is such an amazing place to live with colourful characters and never-ending entertainment and I needed a home that reflected this lifestyle. My home is a small and functional studio which required a keen sense of spatial awareness to incorporate defined living, eating and outdoor socializing spaces. Chris brought a mixture of soft and hard textures, creating depth with pops of colour through knitted woolen throws and geometric patterned pillowcases. My kitchen includes a raw hardwood mobile island with adjustable stools, which I can couple with my outdoor furniture on my compact balcony. Another hard wood multi-purpose chest has been used to provide me with more storage and seating, and to soften my balcony. Overall, Chris has done an amazing job to fulfill my brief and give me the home that matches so well to my surrounds.”
