Throughout the entire process Lucy and the owner, Edgar, were very responsive and at end of the project our patio was just like we dreamed. They made the enire process effortless. “I just completed a remodel of my pool and landscaping with the Alder Group, and simply stated I could not be happier. From the first meeting until the project was completed, Don always looked for ways to improve the project and at the same time ways to minimize the cost of the project. His keen eye for design saw needed simple improvements that were relatively inexpensive but had a massive effect on the overall beauty of the project. Perhaps most importantly when the manufacturer delivered the wrong custom coping, and I worried that we would not be able to meet the deadline of a large party that was planned for my backyard; Don found a way to resolve the issue and keep the job on schedule. Don is truly one of the good guys.”

“Michael is a master! Not only is he a creative designer with an amazing aesthetic, but he created a very functional space that I use every day. My family and friends will always choose my backyard for dining above any restaurant because the beauty and tranquility of my outdoor space creates the best kind of mood for social gatherings. My landscaping is gorgeous and easy to maintain. My backyard is now an extra room in my home, an annuity that I did not consider when I first started planning to re-design my yard. I am so glad that I hired Michael to design my yard because he solved all the problems of the previous landscaping: I now have excellent drainage, complete privacy, a water feature that eliminates any traffic noise, and shade that makes my south facing yard habitable, even in the middle of the day. My yard and budget were modest, but Michael worked with me to find the right balance between investment and affordability.”

“So, about a year and a half ago I bought a small house built in 1939. Lots of charm, but the backyard, not so much. Small, nothing but a lawn, tiny little patio cover off the garage, and a big redwood at the corner. Oh, and my neighbors looked right over it from their second floor. I and my house guests would hide under the patio cover to get shade and privacy. It didn't seem like there was a way to fix all this, but Gary surveyed the yard, its problems and my neighborhood's style. He then listened closely to my concerns and was diligent in understanding my particular likes and dislikes. He came back with three different plans and I liked all of them. After I committed to a plan, he went to work and each and every member of his crew was friendly and professional during the work. Finished on time and in budget. And I love my yard! It went from being a sore spot to the favorite feature of my house. Lots of privacy, shade, and visual interest. And a tub with hot and cold water :) My friends and family are huge fans as well. Thanks Gary!”

“I want you to know that I am very happy with the final plant choices. I am not sure how you did it but, some how you were able to decipher what we wanted the end results to be in our yard. Some days I was not sure what we wanted! Our yard is now not only beautiful but, most importantly manageable!!! We no longer have to spend hours weekly trying to maintain the landscape. Instead we now get to spend that time enjoying being outside in our yard. I really appreciate that you were available to check everything after installation and make appropriate substitutions. You are right it was a learning experience for everyone. Thank you for your patience and holding my hand through the process. I enjoyed working with you. I have already sent your information on to several people who have come to look at our yard.”

“Molly Roy completely redesigned our front and side yards for a low-water footprint with native plants. She consulted closely with us all through the project and offered us many alternatives, both in look and in specific plants, that we had not considered. It turned out beautifully and we hope to work with her again on the rest of our property. She was knowledgeable and easy to work with and we were simply delighted with the result.”

“Colin and his firm Envision have now done two landscape design and build projects for us. It was an experience so different than other construction jobs we have endured. Colin communicated each step of the way, he was creative in taking our ideas and offering creative solutions, alternatives and even cost savings. He was always on schedule and employs a great crew with an eye for detail. The stack rock retaining wall is amazing how it all fits perfectly and actually saved us money versus and plain wood wall. I never knew that native plants could have so much color and visual interest for so much of the year. His design and construction project for a duplex we own was even more creative as he took one plain backyard shared by two tenants a turned it into two separate peaceful low maintenance yards using clump bamboo and natives. Envision’s start to finish philosophy made it easy! (I'll upload some pics soon)”

“Great Vision!!! Professional!!! Delivers!!! Tom definitely knows what he is doing. He really knows how to brainstorm with your ideas while using his expertise to help you design your unique dream landscape. More importantly, he was able to help me fully see and understand what he had envisioned for my project. He demonstrated his attention to details thru his graphics and explanations of everything from the hardscape to the foliage. This led me to be was very confident in his work to get the project started. The best part about working with TH Norton Landscape, was that he executed what he proposed. He made sure the project would be completed smoothly and quickly, while upholding his high standards in every detail. I'm still amazed with his design and the way he delivered exactly what we had envisioned. He made this process so easy, I can't wait to get him to design my house. Highly Recommend!!!”
