“We recently moved into our new build home which Claudia designed the lighting for. Despite our budget constraints she has created exactly the atmosphere we were looking for – both during the day and in the evening, especially in our large kitchen diner - allowing us to use the space in different ways throughout the day. I didn’t want to use many decorative light fittings and she came up with ways to illuminate the space and highlight the architecture of the house that are intergrated into the spaces. We are very happy with the final result and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Claudia for your project.”

“I have worked with Sam Cole on many projects over the years, and my clients value her expertise. I'm always confident the interiors I've designed will look enhanced with Sam’s lighting schemes. Whether it’s a new build or refurbishment, I recommend clients engage with Sam’s soon after the furniture layouts has been confirmed, so her professional drawings and lighting specifications are included in the tender package. Sam, liaises with clients, interior designers, electricians and the AV consultants to design and specify the perfect architectural light fittings for a every space and room. She is very approachable, friendly and professional and her product knowledge is always current in a fast developing industry. She has good knowledge of decorative fittings too, and is keen to assist in sourcing the right product from the right supplier. Lighting plans were once a drawings produced by interior designers, electricians, architects, M&E consultants and AV consultants, but not anymore. Sam calculates the light levels, energy use, selects the correct beam angles, lumens and colour rendering for all lamps, a skill beyond my capabilities.”

“We have faithfully purchased from La Cotonniere since its inception. Service has been outstanding and personal. Products are extremely varied with an emphasis on quality and design. Towels, little girls nightgowns, bedding to bathroom scents and lotions to throw rugs and all the pot and dishes to hold them; all are of such quality that I found no other place where this type of merchandise could be found much less at such competitive prices. Since we have now relocated to Texas I treasure both the products as well as the memories. I return to the UK in March for the dog show, Crufts, and will be staying a few extra days to visit the shop now in Putney. Clair Chryssolor”
