Master Ensuite layout Help
Comments (7)Thanks again OKlouise, we were originally torn between using some of the space for a WIR and some for the ensuite, We are leaning towards creating robe storage space in the master bedroom to allow a spacious ensuite...See MoreEnsuite layout help - new build
Comments (21)Thanks very much ramcub for sending through these options. We have decided to go with your last layout (alternative 2). OKlouise, your layout above with the D bath is also a really smart design.... My husband and I have had good discussion this evening between these two layouts - both are great. The double shower gets it over the line for us though... To answer your question ramcub, we envisage putting a large round ottoman in the middle of the WIR. Thank you all for your input and ideas....See MoreEnsuite Layout Help
Comments (3)trying not to rearrange the plumbing too much my suggestion has a double shower and big vanity but you'll need to be careful choosing the new toilet and vanity to make sure that you find the ones with the smallest back to front dimensions to allow maximum walking and dressing space in the middle of the room...there should be enough space to have a wall hung medicine cabinet on the window wall but keeping the hinged bathroom door would be better for an extra towel rack and clothes hooks on the back of the door and is much less expensive than changing the wall to add a cavity slider hat...See MoreTiny en-suite layout needed
Comments (10)based on standard sized fixtures there should be enough space for a small corner shower and single vanity with a toilet squeezed into the space next to the shower (which is narrower than ideal for comfortable elbow room) leaving space in the middle to stand and dry yourself or one person to walk behind another... there also needs to be allowance made for the space that will be used by new wall and floor linings so strongly recommend that you research fixtures and collect pamphlets with specifications and consult a plumber before you buy anything but i would prefer a bigger custom sized tiled walk in shower with glass panel and sacrifice a vanity cabinet for a wall hung sink with in wall mirrored wall cabinet and more toilet room for a more spacious feel...See MoreKate
