I'm trying to modernise my home. Getting contemporary fittings and furniture. I have a black leather couch, some pine timber furniture, a white kitchen... So I'm really stuck of a good colour wooden flooring. I'm not a huge fan of my terracotta look tiles but it's simply to expensive to replace them all.

I have seen photos of monument Windows & in some pics it looks dark grey but the. monument on the roof looks black? I am having the same window color throughout the house & not keen on monument if it's more a dark grey. I'm having feature walls in domino so would prefer black Windows & black hexagon Mosaic tiles for splash back, sublime teak cabinetry Windows. What are your thoughts?

When selecting windows it’s a good idea to think about how they perform thermally. The frames influence this as well as the glazing. Timber, uPVC and thermally broken aluminium frames are lower conductors of heat and cool than regular aluminium or steel frames, but they do come at a cost premium. Scandinavian design is typically quite light with use of natural materials in pure form and simplicity. The images above are great examples. Stick to this as your brief and you will nail it :)
