I'd look at plumbing it in to your main line. To save oodles of money get a heap of quotes from plumbers for the whole thing, then get the price broken down into sections. If you can do all the manual work a good plumber will really work with you all the way. Find out exactly what piping and fixings you need, search around all local suppliers, even check gum tree, eBay buy bits & pieces as you can afford it. Once you have everything start digging! Your plumber should advise you on what heights, depths and specifications he needs, once done everything can be left exposed for inspection and connection. He'll love walking in going from section to section just putting it all together and certifying off and there's no reason why he wouldn't give you a great price:)

Hi Sally, Just wanted to congratulate you on such a fantastic renovation! The transformation is truly incredible. At first sight, it is hard to imagine how a vibrant music studio could be created given the rather dark features of the original room. But you've definitely risen to the challenge and created a warm, vibrant room which no doubt will inspire fabulous music! All the best, The Schneider Electric Team.

Check the development requirements before going too far and also check that it is in a suitable location. Don't want neighbours to complain - which they do! A client of mine went down this same path. Neighbours not happy with the location of the structure. Also the builder placed it to close to a main sewer line. When the owner decided to change it from non habitable to a habitable space it was a time consuming exercise and a lot of hidden costs purely because of its original poor location. Getting plans and application would have highlighted these issues before construction, the $3k for plans and approvals would have been more palatable than what they ended up spending....

I established Core Interiors in Canberra in 2013, still here & now going strong again having survived through Covid. How do we get a Houzz design badge 2022?
