Never been a fan of matching lighting exactly, but instead suggest coordinating the pendants with your current fixture. You don't have to stick to ball-shaped either and can maybe go with a tubular shape. If you're hubby is stuck on chrome, maybe a chrome tube would work... if you want more glass, we also carry a line of pendant lighting and I'm sure you'll find something to go with it or atleast give you an idea.

This is the 'black' version. Do you think that it will still get lost and we need something with more punch. Still deciding on best material/colour for splashback. We will have a window over the sink and glass fronted cabinets along the wall behind the island bench. It’s actually porcelain. Love the look of marble but not the maintenance. Didn’t like the stone look alikes but think the porcelain looks very much like marble. Also better than stone as it can take high heat.

Hi Julievan, Sounds like a gorgeous kitchen! I'd stick with the brass theme and perhaps frosted glass. Similar to the image attached.
