Renovating an old 2 bedroom miners cottage on half an acre of garden and bush with filtered ocean views, South of sydney. Second bedroom will be a study/guests bedroom. Faces South, with views of garden and large Boulder.
The window design dilemma - do we use a narrow bank of louvres combined with fixed glazing for the views and to minimise air leakage on the South side; or narrow bank of louvres combined with a door, to step out in to the garden and see the ocean, also able to flush out heat on a particularly hot day?
